RAIQC - Supporting education, training and assessment in medical imaging

Overview of RAIQC

RAIQC is a cloud-based clinical simulation platform developed by radiologists at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.  Accessible from anywhere in the world, RAIQC combines a zero footprint DICOM viewer with a reporting simulator to help develop and practise image interpretation skills in a secure, online environment.

Our online image viewer can be displayed on one or multiple screens, replicating a PACS workstation environment, and supports all major expected image manipulation tools:

  • Scroll
  • Zoom
  • Panning
  • Measurements
  • Annotation
  • Contouring

The reporting simulator allows for free text through structured reporting to the marking of Regions of Interest. This introduces new learners to the imaging environment and reflects advanced learners’ expectations of a true to life reporting experience.

With these functionalities, we’ve put together medical image interpretation curriculum for our users to benefit from, as well as a platform for teachers and trainers to upload their content to set up their own educational environment for their trainees.

RAIQC’s Extensive curriculum

With content curated by world-renowned experts, RAIQC includes educational resources and replicates real-world situations with structured reporting study lists to learn, train, and assess skills across a wide range of pathologies and procedures. All these resources provide certificates of completion that can be used as evidence of Continous Professional Development!
